Former Janera employee joins NPP

TURA: Leoberth R Sangma, a practising lawyer in the Meghalaya High Court and former staff of Garo daily Salantini Janera, has joined the National People’s Party (NPP).
Sangma, who joined the party in the presence of GHADC Chairman Boston Ch Marak, West Garo Hills Party President Phillipole D Marak and a host of other leaders, said he joined the party as he felt that NPP is the only one that will lead the State forward. He added that he would work to bring back peace and development in the region and free the State from corruption and financial bankruptcy.
