Bus owner clarifies on mishap

TURA: The owner of the night bus being operated under A’chik Travel Agency which met with an accident at Goalpara, Assam on Friday evening has informed that only 16 persons were injured in the mishap.
The clarification further stated that the mishap occurred when the bus was hit on the side by a speeding truck (ML07 B – 3845) coming from a connecting road leading to the driver losing control and hitting a building on the side of the road. As per the clarification, only one person was seriously injured and was taken to Guwahati for treatment while the others received minor injuries.
