Block Innovators meet
The Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills has informed that the Basin Development Unit of the district in collaboration with the Planning Department and Block Development Officer will organize the “Block Innovators Meet 2016” under the umbrella of the Innovation Fund in the all the blocks on December 19. Interested individuals, NGOs, schools, colleges and line departments have been invited to participate in the meet where they can submit a proposal for the upliftment of the people.
Cleaning drive
The Executive Committee of Lumshyiap Dorbar Shnong will hold its annual cleaning drive in the locality from 8 am onwards on December 12. Dorbar Shnong secretary KP Phawa has asked the residents to take part in the drive.
Dorbar Shnong Pynthorbah Shillong will conduct cleaning drive on December 12.

The Eid-Milad Un-Nabi celebration committee, Barapathar will take out a procession on the occasion of Eid-Milad Un-Nabi (Birth Anniversary of Prophet Mohammad) on December 12 from Mohammadia-Al-Hussaini Mosque (Khan Masjid), Barapathar Point at 9 am to Dargah Sharif (Lower Lumparing).
