Miscreants drive away with vehicle

SHILLONG: Three miscreants allegedly drove away with a local taxi recently after intoxicating the driver of the cab. Rohit Rai, driver of the local taxi (ML-05D-9690) lodged a complaint that on December 10 between 8 pm and 8.30 pm he ferried passengers from Laban Last Stop and dropped one woman and a child at Barapathar. Thereafter, three unidentified occupants offered him drinks consuming which he became unconscious. Later, the miscreants threw him out of the taxi at Khlieh Iewduh and drove away the vehicle.
