Nuisance at SBI
On December 13, one Munish Kumar Mangla along with his accomplices (2) created nuisance at SBI ICAR Complex, Umiam and abused the Branch Manager. One of the miscreants also took video recording without permission.
Vehicle stolen
Subhash Dkhar lodged a complaint that on the night of December 12, unknown miscreant(s) stole his  new Bolero vehicle along with documents from Iongkaluh village.
ATM fraud
Bretdalin Dkhar lodged a complaint that on December 12 morning, she received an anonymous call, wherein the caller claimed to be a Branch Manager of Indian Bank, informing her that her ATM card and asked for her ATM details. On December 14, she detected that Rs. 49,955/- has been debited from her account.
Rape
Dr. W.C Narry, M&HO, CHC Mawkyrwat lodged a complaint that on December 13 around 12.30 pm, one 35- year-old woman went to CHC Mawkyrwat  and complained that one Trimland Khardewsaw of Nongrim Mawpat village, sexually assaulted her.
FIR lodged
The East Khasi Hills District Administration has filed an FIR against Tarun Bhartiya for using loud speakers without prior permission from the District Administration. Shira Kshir, Executive Magistrate, East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that on December 15 around 11 am, Bhartiya used loud speakers without prior permission during the hawkers’ protest in front of Municipal Board Office.
Fine imposed
A local court on Friday convicted three boys under Police Act and imposed a fine of Rs 5000 each.  The three boys identified were caught by Sadar police while drinking outside the Jailroad Puja pandal during Durga puja in October.
