Firework lisence
The District Magistrate West Khasi Hills District has notified that all sorts of fire crackers and fireworks should not be sold in retail shops without obtaining valid license from the competent authority with immediate effect.
Alumni Meet
The first Alumni Meet of Mawprem Modern Higher Secondary School, Lower Mawprem, will be held on December 17 on the school premises from 11 am. All past pupils who have registered for the event have to reach the school by 10:30 am.
The Ieng Rasong Sports Social and Cultural Club, will organise pre-advance Christmas Musical concert on December 21 at U Soso Tham auditorium hall at State Central Library at 3 pm. Ronnie Lyngdoh will be the chief guest of the occasion.
Christmas carol
The Alumni Association of St. Mary’s College in association with NSS of the college organised a pre-Christmas party for the children of Reach Shillong Ministry and St. Mary’s Convent on December 14 at 11 am. The children also went Christmas caroling around Laitumkhrah area.
