Road Safety Year
The Transport Department, Government of Meghalaya & Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) in collaboration with Association of State Road Transport Undertaking (ASRTU) will inaugurate and launch the Road Safety Advocacy & Road Safety Year 2017 on the theme, “Time For Action” at the State Convention Centre at 10:00 AM on December 21.
Past pupils’ meet
Don Bosco Past Pupils’ Association will hold pre-Christmas celebrations at Don Bosco Technical School, Laitumkhrah at 2.30 pm on December 22. Serenity Choir from Malki-Laitumkhrah will perform on the occasion. All past pupils of Don Bosco belonging to all Salesian schools have been invited to the function.
Pre-Christmas celebration
The Civil Services Wives Welfare Association celebrated Christmas with the inmates of Meghalaya Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (MIMHANS) on Monday. Gifts and food was offered to the inmates even as the gathering was made lively by the singing of Christmas carols.
