WJH officers celebrate X’mas with orphans

JOWAI: The Officers’ Club here, in collaboration with The Ultimate Legend Bikers’ Association (Shillong), organised a pre-Christmas celebration with orphans of Wahiajer, Mihmyntdu, Chutwakhu Children Homes and children of the NEIMA Sahsniang.
The celebration begun with a carol, sung by around 27 bikers from Shillong, at Jrisalein Playground here.
Additional deputy commissioner D.M Wahlang said, “We need to trust each other before we trust in God and have faith in him and we also need to pray for everything that we need from God.”
Christmas gifts were distributed among the children. The Bikers’ Association presented a cake on the occasion.
