New Council members to take oath on Dec 23

SHILLONG: The newly elected members of both KHADC and JHADC will take oath on December 23.
District Council Affairs Minister Prestone Tynsong told reporters on Tuesday that while a Judge of the KHADC will administer the oath to the newly elected members in KHADC, the same will be performed by the Chairman or Deputy Chairman in JHADC.
The new MDCs are HS Shylla (UDP), Rocky Shullai (NCP), Samlin Malngiang (HSPDP), Equator Nongrang (UDP), Blandingstar Warjri (HSPDP) and Kimfa S Marbaniang (Congress), while the lone JHADC MDC is Lamdibok Sumer (Congress).
