MTC staff to get 2 months’ salary

SHILLONG: A day after the employees of Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) resorted to pen-down strike due to non-payment of their salaries, the State Government on Thursday released two months’ salary of the staff. Sources in MTC revealed that all due formalities have been completed by the Corporation and that the money has already been deposited in the bank.
The sources also informed that a month’s salary is still pending and they were hopeful the same will be released soon.
