Theft
On December 24 around 3.15 am, unknown miscreants broke into the grocery shop of Dinesh Rai at Police Bazar, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 25,000 and cigarettes.
On December 23 around 7.30 am, unknown miscreants stole two cell-phones from the house of Chanda Choudhury at Sweeper Line, Shillong.
On December 23 around 3.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one scooter (ML-05A-1116) belonging to Banshanlang Majaw from Iew Mawlong parking lot, Shillong.
Assault
Edison S Sangma of Lower Wadanang, Tura lodged a complaint that on December 6 evening, unidentified miscreants assaulted his son, Vedrian Belgra M Sangma. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Tura.
Accident
On December 24 around 3.35 pm, an accident took place between one Maruti local taxi (ML-05H-9738) and one Maruti car (ML-05J-4068) near Nongrim petrol pump (AIR quarters), Shillong. As a result, one female occupant of the local taxi sustained and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On December 23 around 7.45 pm, one coal laden truck (AS-01DD-4885) driven by Sobra Paul (26) capsized near 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong. As a result, the driver and handyman sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.
