JH durbar hall centenary celebrations conclude

JOWAI: The year-long centenary celebration of the durbar hall of Panaliar Durbar Shnong concluded on Wednesday.The durbar hall locally known as Yung-Walieh was constructed in 1916 and built again in 1954.
It was in 1990, that the Durbar Shnong reconstructed the hall properly, enlarging it and giving the hall its current shape.Deputy Chief Minister RC Laloo and Lok Sabha MP Vincent H Pala attended the concluding function as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. JHADC Deputy CEM A Andrew Shullai was also present on the occasion.It may be mentioned that Chief Secretary KS Kropha had inaugurated the Centenary celebrations of the Yung-Walieh in April this year.
