SHILLONG: Congratulatory messages continued to pour in for the new UPSC Chairperson David Syiemlieh with the UDP and HYC lauding his appointment on Tuesday.
UDP general secretary Jemino Mawthoh said, “After making his mark as member of UPSC, he has now been elevated as Chairman. It has done us proud as a community and state as another person from the region has been elevated to the post of Chairman. He will be able to bring positive changes in the functioning of the Commission.”
Meanwhile, the HYC Malki circle in a statement issued here said that Syiemlieh has brought laurels not only to the State but to Malki locality as well since he is a resident of Malki Khliehshnong.
