One Amit Singh lodged a complaint that on January 3 around 2.15 pm, one Bahduh assaulted him near Mawprem Taxi Stand.
Yolanda Syiemiong lodged a complaint that on January 2 around 10 pm, unknown occupants of one Maruti Car (ML-10-1387) went to her house at Paltan Bazar, Shillong, and verbally abused and assaulted her.
Roi Chyrmang of Jalaphet village (EJH) lodged a complaint that on January 1 around 1 am, three persons, Kishan Bareh, Khroo Bareh and Shngain Bareh assaulted her son Ganesh Chyrmang. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Khliehriat and later referred to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital.
Theft
Joshna Lyngdoh of Wahingdoh, Raimohon Lane, lodged a complaint that on January 1 around 9.30 pm, she found that the window grill of her house had been damaged and cash Rs. 71,000 and six anna of gold were missing from her purse.
Accidents
On January 3 around 8.30 am, one Bolero (ML-05K-5496) driven by Shining Nongsiej fell into a gorge at Mawlyngad (EKH). As a result, the driver sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On January 3 around 9.45 pm, one Alto Car (ML-05M-2218) driven by George Lyngdoh Mawphlang (39 yrs) dashed against a wall at Mawpat (EKH). As a result, the driver and five occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to NEIGRIHMS.
On January 3 around 10.50 pm, an accident took place between one Alto K-10 (TR-01AM-0603) driven by Biplab Das and one truck (TR-01AA-1838) at Kynrahmarom, Mawryngkneng (EKH). As a result, the Alto driver and four other occupants sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.
On January 3 at about 12.30 pm, one tourist taxi (ML-04B-4293) driven by Roswell Kharngi (35 yrs) dashed against one truck (ML-05F-0827) at Mawlyngngad, Sohryngkham (EKH). As a result, the driver of tourist taxi and four occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to NEIGRIHMS.
On January 3 at about 1.20 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05P-4610) ridden by A. Kumar Rangkawad (46 yrs) knocked down Notre Jana (67 yrs) near Khlieh Iewduh. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.
On January 2 around 9.30 pm, one Maruti Wagon-R (ML-05N-7109) dashed against one scooter (ML-05-9348) ridden by Gary George Mawlot (24 yrs) at Nongrah, Nongpdeng. As a result, the rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were admitted at Woodland Hospital.
A Tata Sumo proceeding towards Umsning from Shillong skidded on a turning and hit the highway guardrail at Umbang under Umsning Block in Ri Bhoi. Three occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries in the mishap that occurred on January 4 afternoon. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Umsning helped in shifting the injured to Umsning CHC.
