On January 5 at about 4 pm, one Tata Sumo tourist vehicle (ML-05K-2249) driven by one Rimilen Roy Nongpluh dashed against a Police mini truck (ML-02-2005) driven by one K. Dkhar at Sohryngkham Neng (EKH). As a result, drivers of both the vehicles sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On January 5 at about 8.30 pm, one truck (number not known) driven by one Ranjit Basumatary (35) fell into a gorge at Mawphlang under Mawngap OP (EKH). As a result, driver sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
