SHILLONG: The Meghalaya People’s United Front has called for a public meeting at 11 am on January 11 on the issue of the recent transfer of West Jaintia Hills DC Arun Kumar Kembhavi. The MPUF has repeatedly cried foul over the transfer.
Fire incident at SBI CSP Balat
On Jan. 6 around 12.18 am, a fire broke out at an SBI Customer Service Point, Balat (SWKH), in which pass books of customers, Micro ATMs, Finger Print Device, documents cash etc.,were gutted.
