Two held for Bara Bazar vendor’s murder

SHILLONG: Two persons have been arrested for murdering a fish seller at Iewduh. Police said the fish vendor, Edwin Lyngdoh (33) of Mawlai Nongkwar, was assaulted on Tuesday night at paan line in Bara Bazar and he succumbed to his injuries at NEIGRIHMS on Wednesday morning. He was hacked with an axe. A murder case has been registered against the two assaulters, identified as Hunlangki Thabah (21) of Mawlai Nongkwar Patarim and Stobarius Kurbah (20) of 4th Mile.
