SHILLONG: A person was accidentally shot thinking to be a wild animal on Wednesday.
Police said one Lumjingtip Lyngdoh (50) accidentally shot Thomas Syiemlieh (45) at Nongtrai village (EKH), mistaken him for a wild animal. The victim died on the spot.
