Street vendor body leader shot

Varanasi: A 65-year-old leader of street vendor association was on Tuesday shot dead allegedly by two unidentified bike-borne assailants in Englishiya Line area under Sigra police station here, police said. The body has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that the matter is being investigated (PTI)
