Three-day Chemistry camp to be held in NEHU

SHILLONG: The Royal Society of Chemistry India and Salters Camps UK are conducting a three day residential Chemistry camp programme for 9th standard students at NEHU from January 30- February 1.
The aim of the programme is to promote appreciation for Chemistry by providing school students from diverse backgrounds an opportunity to explore practical chemistry.
This is the first Chemistry camp conducted at NEHU.
In total, 12 Chemistry camps training over 750 students from 225 schools have been completed, since the launch of the programme in 2015.
Salters Chemistry camps will provide hands on practical activities in university labs, exciting chemical demonstration and the chance to meet like-minded students.
The Royal Society of Chemistry is the world’s leading chemistry community, advancing excellence in the chemical sciences.
