SHILLONG: Three persons who were arrested in connection with the gang rape of a 21-year-old girl at Nongtraw in Ri Bhoi have been remanded in 14-day judicial custody.
The accused have been identified as Kyrshan Lyngdoh Marbaniang, Meljohn Ramshon and Ropsing Nongpluh.
Ri Bhoi SP GD Kharwanlang said as per investigation, the victim has known all the three boys who were involved in the incident. The accused were arrested immediately after an FIR was filed against them.
