Dry day
The DC of East Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills, West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi has declared January 26 as Dry Day.
General meet
KHNAM will hold a general convention on January 28 at Politechnic Mawlai from 11 am. The secretaries, presidents of districts, constituencies, units and circles are requested to attend the meeting.
Cleanliness drive
The HYC Malki circle has distributed dustbins in Malki area on January 21. The HYC will conduct awareness programmes on cleanliness and not to throw garbage indiscriminately and have urged the people to not smoke in public places.
NFSA cards
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills District has informed that Government employees and pensioners, if any, with one of its family member holding the NFSA card are to surrender their cards to the office of the Deputy Commissioner on all working days during office hours on or before January 31.
