3 separate molestation cases reported

SHILLONG: Three separate cases of molestation and sexual abuse have been reported from different parts of the state. On January 26 at about 10 am, one Teibor Kharbani, attacked and sexually assaulted one thirteen year old girl at Mawiawtap Village in West Khasi Hills. In the incident, victim sustained injuries.In another incident, on January 25 at about 4.30 pm, a 17 year old juvenile attempted to rape one 14 year old girl and also attempted to murder her with a knife at Mihmyntdu Village in West Jaintia Hills. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted in the Hospital. In yet another incident that was reported from East Garo Hills, a woman lodged a complaint that on January 19 at about 11 am, her husband Timalson Marak and his elder brother Dilson Marak, molested and assaulted her at Mangsang Bazar in East Garo Hills. Later, she found that Rs. 3500 cash was missing and suspected to have been taken away by the accused persons.
