SHILLONG: Equipment worth more than Rs. 15 lakh have gone missing from a Government project site in East Garo Hills. As per police, the incident happened between December 27 and January 12.The GI pipes amounting to over Rs. 15 lakh under Daninggre and Rukalgre Water Supply went missing, police said. An FIR in this regard has been filed by Izghar G Momin, SDO, PHE, RWS, Sub-Division, Simsanggre. Police added that the matter is still under investigation.
