TURA: Several NGOs from South Garo Hills have alleged that the branch manager of SBI’s Baghmara office misbehaved with them when they went to the branch to enquire about the unavailability of smaller denomination notes of Rs 100 and Rs 500 at its ATM.
Baghmara Citizens Forum (BCF) president Julius Sangma said that a few days ago, when he along with leaders of other NGOs like the GSU had met the branch manager to enquire about the situation the SBI official “shouted at us” instead of giving a proper explanation.
