Two IIT-G students arrested

Guwahati: Two male students of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) were arrested on Wednesday after a girl student of Gauhati University had filed a police complaint against them charging them of molestation. The police have slapped Section 354 of the IPC against them. The incident had allegedly taken place on the night of February 3 last and the victim girl student filed an FIR with the North Guwahati police station only on Tuesday. She had specifically named two students of IIT-G and accused the duo of spiking her fruit juice after which she had been molested by the duo.
