SHILLONG: The State unit of the Lok Janshakti Party has constituted a Public Grievances Committee under the leadership of its state president Rocky Nongrum to fight for the development of villages in Meghalaya.
“The LJP State unit recently visited some villages in Meghalaya and found that most of the roads, health centres and water supply and sanitation facilities were not in proper order. In this context the LJP decided to launch a campaign to fight for development,” an LJP statement said adding that the complaints of the villagers would be taken up with the Central and State governments.
