CLP, MUA-II meetings tomorrow

SHILLONG: A meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) followed by that of MUA-II partners will be held on Wednesday.Though the agenda is not known, the meeting is likely to discuss the need to ensure unity ahead of the Budget session scheduled from March 3. Sources said though the Opposition is unlikely to bring in any no-confidence motion against the Government in the upcoming session, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma wants to ensure smooth passage of Bills with the support of the Congress and MUA-II coalition members.
