Driver killed
On February 17, one Tata Sumo (AS-13BC-4794) driven by Hairam Das dashed against a truck (ML-04-2593) at Dkhiah, NH44. The driver of the sumo died on the spot.
Tanker rans over one
On February 18, one LPG tanker (AS-01BC-7973) ran over Sunshine Kharbihkhiew at Mawryngkneng. The victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Shillong.
Stolen
On February 17, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-07A-1289) belonging to Chembalin K Sangma from Dobu Rongmu Songgitcham  in East Garo Hills.

On February 16, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (AS-19F-5665) belonging to Md. Saidul Islam from Shi kilo, Dkhiah East in East Jaintia Hills.

On January 7, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08C-1216) belonging to Anderson Marak, which was parked in his residence at Agilanggre, West Garo Hills.
Sexual Assault
One woman lodged a complaint that one Synjiat Mairang sexually assaulted her grand-daughter at Mawlumkohkhrang village (WKH) on January 27.

Impersonator held
On February 18, one Damostar Nongspung demanded Rs 2000 in the name of Poor People Movement Organisation  from shopkeepers at Iewduh. He even issued money receipt. Police have arrested the accused.
