Hujon dares Kharshiing to lodge FIR
SHILLONG: CSWO (I) president Irene Hujon has dared Agnes Kharshiing to file an FIR against her after the latter alleged that Hujon and another women were planning to kill her.
Earlier, Kharshiing had said she had handed over an audio recording to the SP (City) Vivek Syiem sometime back as evidence against Hujon and the other lady.
“It is surprising that Kharshiing, who at other times is so prompt and quick to file FIRs against every Tom, Dick and Harry, took this matter so lightly when it concerns her own life,” Hujon said.
While demanding that Kharshiing should file an FIR immediately so that action as per law can be taken against her and whoever the other lady is, Hujon said if she did not then it would imply that Kharshiing had made the allegations to defame her.Meanwhile, Hujon filed an FIR on Monday with the East Khasi Hills SP urging him to conduct an inquiry and take action “so that the truth is revealed”.
