Vehicle stolen in EJH

JOWAI: A local Maruti taxi (ML 11-02612) was stolen by a known person from Wapungshnong village in East Jaintia Hills District.The owner of the vehicle,Ras Dkhar of Wapungshnong informed that one Fullmoon Laloo of Mowkaiaw village, West Jaintia Hills hired the vehicle from his driver on January 11, and since then both the vehicle and the driver are missing. “I have lodged a complaint with the in-charge Ladrymbai Police outpost and the police are yet to take action”, said Dkhar. He also informed that Laloo has the habit of stealing vehicles and sell them to anyone who needs one.
