Man sustains pellet injury

SHILLONG: The Nokma of Domapara village, South West Garo Hills, Goojin Ch. Sangma and Solen D. Shira along with the villagers lodged a complaint that Dingjan R. Sangma (51) sustained pellet injuries below his left eye, which was shot by unknown miscreants while he was in the kitchen of his house.
The victim was shifted to Primary Health Centre, Zikzak for treatment.
Police recovered and seized one country made, empty cartridges and threads from the PO and two SBML guns belonging to villagers suspected to be involved in the incident.
