Miscreants steal cattle, assault labourer

SHILLONG: A truck driver Md. Dildar Hussain lodged a complaint that on February 23 unidentified miscreants forcibly took away four cattle from his truck and also assaulted a labourer who was accompanying him. According to Hussain,  the miscreants boarded the vehicle at 12th Mile Toll Plaza while he was on his way from 20th Mile, Baridua and took the cattle laden truck to Umling where they stole four cattle before abandoning the vehicle.

Coal trucks seized
