SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee, the West Khasi Hills District Congress Committee and the Rambrai -Jyrngam and Nongstoin Block Congress Committees on Tuesday expressed profound grief and sorrow at the tragic loss of 17 lives in the fatal road accident in West Khasi Hills.
The meeting extended condolences to the bereaved family.
The party members also expressed sympathy towards the large number of Church goers who were seriously injured in the accident.
