SHILLONG: The CSWO central body under the leadership of Irene Hujon has criticised Evangeline Thabah, who came out in support of Agnes Kharshiing earlier this week, and said she has little knowledge about the organisation.
The Hujon lobby said Thabah joined CSWO in 2007 and was removed in 2011.  “If Thabah, the general secretary of Kharshiing, dares to claim that the latter is the president, then she should also produce all relevant documents before the media and the general public to justify their claims,” said the Hujon-led CSWO in a press statement on Friday.
“The letter received by me from the Office of the Joint Registrar of Societies, dated April 24, 2011, a copy of which was also sent to Kharshiing, clearly states that as per office records, the President of the CSWO remains in my name. Maybe Thabah has not gone through its contents or is she implying that this document too has been hidden?” Hujon said.
Hujon also denounced both Thabah and Kharshiing for blaming Magistrate S.R Marak, who conducted the CSWO inquiry and after completion, handed it over to the State Government with the recommendation to issue directions that neither party should use the name CSWO.
