SHILLONG: A minor girl was killed when a Maruti Baleno fatally knocked her down at Umphyrnai in East Khasi Hills on Friday at about 2.30 pm. The incident happened, when the Maruti Baleno (ML-10B-0388) driven by Saiabor P Nongpluh (39) knocked down the girl identified as Luialin Pyngrope, killing her on the spot, police said. The matter is under inquiry.
