Black day protest on March 16

SHILLONG: The Central Government Employees of Meghalaya will observe black day strike on March 16 in support of the 21 point charter of demands.The demands include retrograde recommendations relating to the 7th Central Pay Commission including  dishonouring  the assurance given by the Group of Ministers to employees on June 30 and July 6 last, especially to increase in minimum wage and fitment factor, the need to  revised HRA, transport allowance, settle all anomalies arising out of implementation of 7th pay commission recommendation among others
