Man attempted to rape minor
Usuk Marak of Monabari village lodged a complaint that on March 7 around 3.30 pm, Taharul Islam alias Laltu (30) attempted to rape one minor girl.
Minor assaulted
Saka Shylla lodged a complaint with Amlarem Police alleging that Md. Laddu Along (22) assaulted a 9 years old girl in his residence at 12.30 pm on March 9. A case under section 354 Ipc R/w sec 8 POCSO Act was filed against Laddu.
In a similar case, Silas Sten of Mukroh village has attempted to assault one Damon Sten of the same village on March 4 at 7 pm.
 Man allegedly murdered
A man filed a complaint that his father was allegedly murdered in B-Chisakgre in West Garo Hills on March 6.
Balman M Sangma in his FIR said alleged that two persons, Gatren A Sangma and Onseng Ch Sangma murdered his father Rokash M Sangma.
Theft
A man identified as Ribokmi Paslein has allegedly stolen a second hand cloths worth Rs 20000 belonging to Damanki Shylla of Ummulong village in West Jaintia Hills. The cloths were stolen from Iaw Pynsin Wahiajer.
Daphisha Suting lodged a complaint that on March 8 around 1.35 pm, a person came to her shop Nongthymmai Nongkhyriem, Shillong on the pretext of recharging his mobile phone and stole her hand bag containing cash about Rs 40000, bank documents and others.
In another incident, Tenzin Choudhen lodged a complaint that on March  7 between 2.55 pm to 4 pm, Bimal Thapa broke into his residence and stole cash Rs 2 lakh and fifty thousand and one jacket.
