Explosives recovered from M’laya, Assam border

SHILLONG: Security forces have recovered explosives at Rani in Assam along the inter-state border.
The quick response team of 175 Battalion of CRPF spotted a man at Moirapur Rani carrying a bag on a motorcycle around 10am on March 11, police said.
When the CRPF personnel chased him, the rider abandoned the bag and fled. The explosives found in the bag were likely to be used for blasting in the stone quarry at Rani.
