SHILLONG: Lieutenant General Depinder Singh Ahuja, general officer commanding 101 Area called on Governor Banwarilal Purohit at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
In his interaction, the officer discussed several relevant issues including the prevailing security situation in the State, empowering the ex-servicemen of Meghalaya and solution to the issue of double imposition of excise duty on CSD items at the depot level in Assam and at the retail outlets in Meghalaya and Tripura.
