Directive
The District Level Committee on Ground Water Resources under South West Khasi Hills District has directed all individuals, private and public institutions within the district owning private bore wells and tube wells to compulsory register with all relevant documents in the Office of the Executive Engineer (WR) South West Khasi Hills, Mawkyrwat. Non compliance of the directive would be dealt as per provision of the law.
Pensioners’ meet
The general body meeting of the Arunachal Pradesh Pensioners’ Welfare Association will be held on March 24 at 11 am at the Old Arunachal Pradesh Secretariat Building near Anjalee Petrol Pump.

Monk visit
Jain Muni Sri Kamal Kumar, learned disciple of Jain Terapanthi Acharyasri Mahashraman will visit Paltan Bazaar, Shillong with two monks. They arrived at Sumer on March 21 and are likely to reach Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha office at Paltan Bazaar around 9 am.
