Toddler ran over by truck

JOWAI: A two-and-half-year old baby died on the spot after it was ran over by a truck at Lum R.C (Shrah), Kyndong Tuber in West Jaintia Hills. The incident happened around 3 pm on Friday.  In a complaint filed with the police, mother of the baby boy, Pyndapribha Phawa accused the driver, Thawaiñ Papiah (Phawa) of Nongjngi village, of rash driving.
