FIR against habitual thief in Jaintia Hills

SHILLONG: An FIR was lodged against a person of Thangrein village in West Jaintia Hills who is allegedly involved in several theft cases. Kantly Shylla, the president of the village defence party, and secretary Iaraplang John Sungoh lodged the FIR saying Firstborn Lamare was caught stealing 25 bricks from a house in the village owned by Hoini Lamare on March 13.
The FIR said despite several warnings, Firstborn did not relent and stole from several houses in the village.
