Govt to rebuild bridge

SHILLONG: PWD Minister and Ranikor legislator M.M Danggo laid the foundation stone for an RCC bridge at Maheshkhola in South West Khasi Hills on Saturday. The new bridge will replace the existing wooden bridge.
The bridge will be built at a cost of Rs 3.8 crore and the project will be commissioned in the next 18 months. According to Danggo, the bridge was not in a good condition for a long time and it will be a blessing for the people of the area.
