Threat of abduction

SHILLONG: Rinduson Marak of Burni Hills, Tura (West Garo Hill lodged a complaint that since March 19 till date, he received anonymous phone calls, wherein the caller demanded Rs. 50,000 from him and also threatened to abduct him and his family members, if he fail to pay the money before April 10.

 

Fraud in vehicle hiring  
SHILLONG: Kammoncha Shadap lodged a complaint that from September 16, 2015 to September 8, 2016, Ones Dkhar hired his Bolero Pick-up (ML-04B-8380) at the rate of Rs. 16,000 per month in addition to the expenditure he had incurred in repairing the d vehicle amounting to a total of Rs. 3,50,273.
But till March 23, 2015, Dkhar paid only Rs. 70,000 to the complainant.
On August  8, 2016, the complainant found his vehicle abandoned in a jungle.
