Lumshnong battered by hailstones

SHILLONG: Lumshnong and adjoining areas were affected by hailstones on Sunday night. As per reports, the areas affected include Umlong, Huroi, Thangskai, Litlong, Hangaria, and Laikiri among others. Standing crops and horticulture products were destroyed while there were damages to RC lower primary school at Umlong and the hostel and kitchen of Divine Word School at Lumshnong.
