SHILLONG: The North Eastern Council Secretariat office building in the city has been awarded the prestigious gold rating by the Indian Green Building Council, Hyderabad for being one of the first Government Green Building Projects in the North East. Informing this here on Friday, a DIPR statement said that the honour was bestowed on NEC for efficient use of energy.
