SHILLONG: With regard to the observance of Digital India Day on Good Friday, the KHNAM has stated that the decision of the NDA government is pre-planned.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Thomas Passah said, “We condemn this and will not allow Modi’s government to harass minorities. The BJP is a threat to the minority groups in the state.”
On the other hand, HYC has demanded from the NDA government to revoke the decision to observe Digital India day on Good Friday.
HYC has urged the state BJP to respect all religions and if they cannot do so, the organisation suggested them to part ways with the party.
