SHILLONG: The three-day annual celebration of Ramakrishna Mission (RKM), Shillong ended here on Sunday with rich insights on the Holy Trio – Swami Vivekananda, Sarada Devi and Ramakrishna Paramahansa.
On the occasion, Raghunayakananda Maharaj, RK Math, Hyderabad talked about the Holy Mother’s life and narrated Ramakrishna’s reverence for her and how the Paramahansa accepted her as first disciple, which happens to be the foundation of Ramakrishna Math.
Shastrajnananda Maharaj, Principal, RKM Vidyamandir, Belur Math, Howrah said that Holy Mother’s life was full of compassion, love and blessings to her children.
Earlier speaking on Swami Vivekananda he said that to attend the societal needs Ramakrishna picked Vivekananda since in him he could see the accomplishment of his mission.
Atmashuddhananda Maharaj, Secretary, RKM Ashrama, Guwahati recalled the very words of Vivekananda who said at the fag end of his life, “To know Vivekananda we may need another Vivekananda”.
On Sunday, all also spoke about the various facets of Ramakrishna.
The Sunday morning celebration started with Gita Yajna.
