NONGSTOIN: Despite government sanction, the students of Marwa LP School have been denied mid-day meal by the school managing committee since 2012.
Alleging this following an inspection of the school, president of FKJGP’s Rambrai circle Wadbor Nongphud said on Tuesday that as per RTI findings, the secretary of the school managing committee has received 2335kg of rice since 2012. However, the children have been deprived of the mid-day meals all along.
The FKJGP has decided to file a complaint with the district Deputy Commissioner on the matter.
